Does it get more heartbreaking for the Chargerhanigans than this matchup?

1. Wandering Albatross’ (papa_brandly@): 7–2

Sitting atop this list sits the Brandly’s. Tied for the best record in the league, a decisive win against Tua Time propelled the Brandly’s to the top. While Tua Time maintains a lead in PF, Brandly’s deadly combo of Josh Allen, Drew Lock, and Drew Brees keeps him in every match-up even when his backup RBs are throwing up duds. With his starting RBs coming back from injury, Brandly’s going to be a hard team to top.

2. Tua Time (leoxia@): 7–2

Am I a little biased here? Yeah maybe, but Tua Time is still a team in contention for the 1st seed. The team’s biggest strength is its depth at QB and RB, but Tua Time’s top heavy WR core is nothing to sneeze at either. With Tua Tagovailoa coming off a breakout game and Aaron Jones coming back from injury, Tua Time is a heavy favorite to make a deep playoff run. We estimate that Tua Time will go 3–1 to finish out an easy remaining schedule.

3. What’s Dalvin cooking? (ishanshah@): 5–4

The question stands: What is Dalvin cooking? And how can I have what he’s having? Dalvin Cook is coming off massive back to back weeks making Ishan’s squad a dangerous playoff match-up. Had Christian McCaffery not injured his shoulder, the Dalvin’s would be sitting at 2. Coincidentally, the Dalvin’s biggest hurdle is depth at all positions. Don’t let his record fool you, Ishan can outscore any of the teams above in any given week, but he first has to remain healthy and make it to the playoffs. We’ll be heavily awaiting his week 13 match-up against Dustin who is also eyeing a playoff berth.

4. Chargerhanigans (vaibhav@): 5–4

Oh how the mighty have fallen. The name change from the ‘Shanahanagins’ to the ‘Chargerhanigans’ is an apt one. The Chargerhanigans started the season with the strongest roster, only to have their season derailed by close match-up after close match-up. Lamar’s regression this year is real concerning and we expect Vaibhav to make tough decisions week to week with his SF position. As Zeke falls into a slump, his RB depth is becoming more sparse too. We expect Vaibhav to finish out the schedule 3–1 and secure a wildcard playoff spot.

5. Team dhttn (dhttn@): 5–4

The dhttn’s are finding their footing after tough losses to Ryan, Vaibhav, Akash, and Leo. His move to go all in with Alvin Kamara could pay off as he has a young budding core of Christian Kirk, DK Metcalf, Calvin Ridley, and Joe Burrow to carry him to consistent wins. Kamara provides the star power he needs to overcome his lack of RB depth. The dhttn’s have a tough remaining schedule, but if Dustin can finish strong then his hopes of a playoff spot are within reach.

6. Team ryanvasquez (ryanvasquez@): 6–3

The blow to Odell Beckham Jr. was a big hit to Ryan, but his depth at WR has not shaken his chances at a playoff spot. Rather, the inconsistency of starting players such as Mike Evans, Mark Andrews, and Carson Wentz has been the barrier to him being 6 on this list and him being in the Top 3. His double headed rookie attack of CEH and James Robinson will be extremely valuable to his success in the remaining stretch.

7. Team emwang44 (emwang44@): 6–3

Emma and Pranav are tied for 3rd on the league standings, but why are they ranked so low in the power rankings? Emwang44 has edged out some close match-ups, but many of them were too close for the strength of matchup. The The team has suffered some big injuries this year and finds itself in a precarious spot of deciding whether or not the push all the chips in. As Nick Chubb, Chris Godwin, and Zach Ertz return from injury, we expect emwang44 to make a jump in the power rankings next week.

8. Team heysteven (heysteven@): 3–6

Sitting at a record of 3–6, Team heysteven is stronger than what his record suggests. With Patrick Mahomes as his benchmark star, a strong duo in Matt Ryan and Tom Brady, as well as the boom/bust nature of his line-up, heysteven has the chance to taken down stronger teams in any given week. Emma, Dustin, and Brandly should be careful against heysteven if they’re hoping to make a playoff push.

9. Team akashanavarathan (akashanavarathan@): 5–4

Akash’s record is better than it looks. Starting the season strong with a duo Dak Prescott and Ryan Fitzpatrick, the team succumbed to losses of both Dak and Fitz. At this point, Akash is still tossing up points due to his young studs in Miles Sanders, DeAndre Swift, Jerry Jeudy, Will Fuller and Brandon Aiyuk, but not having a startable QB will be a huge hinderance for his team down the stretch. Expect him to draft a QB in next year’s rookie draft.

10. Gimme the Damn L (AbhiG15@): 1–8

Abhi didn’t get off to a hot start this year. His bright spots in George Kittle and Allen Lazard got banished to IR for the forseeable future and his breakout candidates in Sam Darnold and Gardner Minshew haven’t exactly hit this year. His 1.04 pick which turned into Jonathan Taylor is coming off a couple weeks of a slump. After trading away Ryan Tannehill and Jimmy G, he now owns 25% of next year’s rookie draft. We’re hopefully optimistic for Abhi’s squad going into next season.

11. Sugma jeffys (vikingsrcool@): 4–5

What’s Sugma? He’s 4–5, but again the record doesn’t paint the whole picture. You could argue that the Jeffy’s were derailed by an injury to stud RB Saquon Barkley, but the truth is the team also has holes at other positions. Inconsistent play from Daniel Jones and Jared Goff in the past weeks have contributed to the Jeffy’s decline. Melvin Gordon also hasn’t looked like the stud he was at Wisconsin/San Diego. TJ Hockenson and Justin Jefferson are budding young stars, but the Jeffy’s decision looms large this offseason on how to rebuild the team.

12. the blertimore footbirds (read@): 0–9

The footbirds might be the first team in league history to go 0–13. From not being able to start a QB to starting two RBs on the same team, the footbirds are in big trouble if they can’t figure it out in the offseason. Some big draft gambles in Brandin Cooks and Baker Mayfield haven’t really paid off and we’re afraid they might never pay off, but if he hits on his rookies this year (JK Dobbins, Tee Higgins, Henry Ruggs) and he picks up Trevor Lawerence next year, we could be looking at next years team to beat.
